Ehrhardt Automation Systems in Granite City, IL is looking to add aManufacturing Engineerto our growing team.The Manufacturing Engineer will work with shop personnel, engineers, managers, customers, and vendors in a collaborative and team approach to design, integrate and improve manufacturing systems and related processes throughout Ehrhardt Automation Systems. Theideal candidate is knowledgeable and experienced in process engineering, quality, and print reading.

This is a 100% in-office position, with flexible scheduling throughout the week.

Salary: $85,000-$90,000 annually.

Ehrhardt Automation Systems designs and builds Automated Systems, Special Machines, and Customized Tooling based upon customer needs and specifications. Ehrhardt also works with customers on "Build to Print" projects and is a diverse supplier for the HVAC, Appliance, Industrial, Consumer, Medical and Automotive Markets. Based in the St. Louis metro area in a modern fully air conditioned 82,000 square foot facility, the company can produce new product offerings rapidly and is ideally poised to penetrate new markets.

Daily Duties of this position:

• Processing prints for operations
• Order tracking
• Liaison between departments and with external contacts
• Capacity planning
• Estimate and quote labor hours and material costs for potential and actual projects

Other Duties of this position:

• Quality assurance
• Purchasing
• Collect and analyze data for performance and capacity metrics
• Review designs for producibility
• Perform RCA’s and CA’s
• Shop Layout
