Siemens Energy's Gas Services division in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to solve complex issues on gas turbine combustion components and to drive development of robust manufacturing and repair processes.
You will collaborate with design and service engineers, lead process development, and apply GD&T, fixture design, and Lean/Six Sigma to deliver reliable, scalable production for new product introductions.
You will contribute to our business’ success, navigating a very dynamic and fast-paced environment while solving various technical issues relating to complex gas turbine combustion components. You may participate in daily Gemba meetings where part/project priorities are highlighted as they relate to both standard production and various development initiatives. At times, you will be on the shop floor closely working with the operators to create robust manufacturing and repair processes in anticipation of new product release. You will collaborate daily with design and service engineering colleagues on DFM (design for manufacturing) topics for new combustion hardware.
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
