CEIS | Clover Leaf Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the end-to-end production lifecycle of precision components used in a major scientific and technical infrastructure upgrade. This role bridges engineering design and hands-on fabrication, ensuring that highly specialized mechanical and vacuum systems are built to exact specifications and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing workflows, assembly procedures, and inspection plans.
• Provide design-for-manufacture (DFM) feedback to engineering teams.
• Support procurement, vendor coordination, and in-house fabrication.
• Lead nonconformance investigations and develop corrective actions.
• Define tolerances, QA criteria, and material specifications based on UHV and magnetic requirements.
• Design custom tooling and fixtures for large and delicate components.
• Prepare documentation for traceability, build history, and technical audits.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in precision assembly or scientific instrumentation environments.
• Proficiency in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo), and familiarity with GD&T and ISO quality systems.
• Experience with ultra-high vacuum systems, alignment fixtures, or cleanroom manufacturing is a strong plus.
• Excellent organizational and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary project teams.
