Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Bardstown, Kentucky. The role focuses on identifying and implementing processes to improve plant efficiency, overseeing Mold Shop personnel, and developing process technologies to minimize variation and reduce costs.

You will analyze equipment layouts, workflows, and workforce utilization while supporting root cause analysis for downtime and leading capital projects.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience using automation to improve process and flow.
• Programmable logic controller experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience (desired).

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement processes aimed at improving the overall efficiency of the plant operations.
• Coordinate and oversee the Mold Shop personnel and ensure metrics are met.
• Develop and implement process technology in the plant to minimize variation and optimize the manufacturing of products while reducing costs.
• Maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods and work force utilization.
• Support the technical teams in finding root cause analysis for equipment downtime.
• Provide technical input and support in the advancement of equipment and tools.
• Manage/lead plant capital improvement projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
