MANUFACTURING ENGINEER – PLASTIC MOLDING OPERATIONS

Looking for a role where you can make an immediate impact and take ownership of key plant-level systems and process improvements? This Manufacturing Engineer position supports molding and post-mold operations with a focus on workflow, equipment validation, and production efficiency. If you're someone who thrives on the floor, enjoys process organization, and wants to help drive smarter operations — this could be a great fit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Refine and further implement CMMS and MES systems for plant-wide visibility and efficiency.
• Lead workflow and line layout improvements in molding and downstream operations, with a focus on labeling, packaging, and welding readiness.
• Manage tooling projects, working directly with vendors to coordinate builds, refurbishments, and changes.
• Lead validation activities related to machinery, equipment, and process implementation.
• Support improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies with a hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Collaborate across departments to improve process flow and documentation from molding through final assembly.
• Support the Controls Engineer and Process Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
• Background in injection molding preferred.
• Vibratory welding experience preferred.
• Experience establishing and improving line layouts and process flows using Lean tools.
• Familiarity with CMMS and MES systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and review complex CAD files related to injection mold tooling (design not required).
