Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. in Broomfield, CO is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Tech 4 to support prototypes and tooling across manufacturing teams. You will plan assignments, set up tooling, operate machines, and ensure conformance to tolerances as you work with Engineering, Marketing and Quality to deliver high-quality components.

The role requires 6+ years of machine shop experience and a formal apprenticeship. MasterCAM CNC programming experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience.
• Machine shop experience and mathematical knowledge for engineering applications.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Plan assignments and set up tooling for machines.
• Operate and adjust tools from blueprints and process sheets.
• Inspect machining operations for tolerances.
• Identify and repair minor machine malfunctions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Marketing and Quality.
