Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. in Broomfield, CO is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to support CNC machining, welding systems, finishing equipment and ultrasonic cleaning lines.

You will perform preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting and repairs to keep equipment safe and reliable. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor and collaborate with engineering, operations and facilities teams to minimize downtime and ensure production readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military/vocational training is required.
• Minimum 2+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machining, welding and finishing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Respond to breakdowns with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Assist with installation, qualification and commissioning of new equipment.
• Validate equipment functionality and production readiness.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and service providers for major repairs.
