Job summary

lighteracareers is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support Maintenance and Process Engineering by assisting technicians with projects, troubleshooting, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will apply electrical engineering principles to improve equipment reliability, automation systems, process efficiency, and product quality in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
S.E.E is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of Electrical Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with troubleshooting and improving electrical and automation systems.
Support installation, relocation, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment.
Develop and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, and related documentation.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
Obtain project quotations and serve as the primary contact for electrical contractors and suppliers.
Plan, troubleshoot, and participate in continuous improvement meetings.
Support maintenance teams with electrical and controls troubleshooting.
Maintain knowledge of plant electrical distribution systems and safety standards.
