Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling in Alsip, IL is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to lead training for maintenance technicians and reduce production downtime. The role focuses on controls and electrical systems with strong emphasis on documentation and SOP development.

You will support the controls engineering group with the Line Information System installation, troubleshoot production equipment, calibrate instruments, and optimize asset reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2–4+ years of related experience or HS Diploma/GED/Technical Certification with 5–7+ years of specific experience
• Electrical certification or vocational certification is a plus
• Experience in electrical controls and documentation is required

Responsibilities

• Provide the proper training in controls and electricity to maintenance technicians to minimize downtime
• Develop and maintain electrical and controls system documentation; assist with Line Information System installation
• Maintain and troubleshoot production electrical equipment from various suppliers
• Assist with calibration procedures for process instruments and develop SOPs to maintain assets
• All other duties as assigned

• Salary: $77,761 - $105,000 plus annual target bonus

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide the proper training in controls and electricity to the maintenance technicians for the purpose of minimizing production downtime
• Develop and maintain electrical and controls system documentation and assists the controls engineering group with the installation of the Line Information System
• Maintain and troubleshoot production electrical equipment from various suppliers
• Assist with calibration procedures for process instruments and develop routines and SOPs to properly maintain the controls assets
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 to 4 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma or Technical School Certification with 5 to 7 plus years of specific experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Electrical certification, Vocational certification or Bachelor’s Degree
