Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling in San Leandro, CA is seeking an Electrical/Controls Engineer to provide training in controls and electricity to maintenance technicians, develop documentation, and support installation of line information systems. You will maintain electrical equipment and troubleshoot with multiple suppliers while ensuring SOPs are up to date.

Requires a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience or a strong alternative with 6+ years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience or High School Diploma/Technical School with 6+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide training in controls and electricity to maintenance technicians to minimize production downtime.
• Develop and maintain electrical and controls system documentation and assist with Line Information System installation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production electrical equipment from various suppliers.
• Assist with calibration procedures for process instruments and develop SOPs for controls assets.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide the proper training in controls and electricity to the maintenance technicians for the purpose of minimizing production downtime
• Develop and maintain electrical and controls system documentation and assists the controls engineering group with the installation of the Line Information System
• Maintain and troubleshoot production electrical equipment from various suppliers
• Assist with calibration procedures for process instruments and develop routines and SOPs to properly maintain the controls assets
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma or Technical School Certification with 6 plus years of specific experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Electrical certification, Vocational certification or Bachelor’s Degree
