Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety professional to implement safety programs across manufacturing sites in Wisconsin. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in EHS and 2–4 years of related experience, with proficiency in OSHA and EPA regulations and the ability to travel about 50%.

You will assist site leadership, conduct incident investigations, monitor safety audits, and train teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or equivalent
• 2–4 years related experience in EHS
• Proficient in OSHA and EPA regulations
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Certified in OHST (Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician) or ASP (Associate Safety Professional)

Responsibilities

• Implements safety programs across an assigned area to ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Assist site leadership with Incident Investigations and ensure documentation is completed as expected.
• Monitors Site Safety Self-Assessments and conducts site audits to ensure site compliance with the organization’s safety programs.
• Monitors reports of hazardous conditions, unsafe acts, and near hits, makes adjustments to improve the safety of the work environment.
• Monitors Safety Dashboard and provide coaching to site leadership to improve performance.
• Develops and implements safety and environmental programs as assigned by EHS Managers or EHS Director.
• Assist sites in developing annual Safety Training Plan and monitor compliance.
• Provides site specific safety training and ensures proper documentation and records of completed training.
• Integrates all safety programs into new site start-ups to ensure a safe and healthy work environment upon service delivery.
• Works with Site Safety Coordinators to ensure safety objectives at the sites are met.
• Communicates with customer safety contacts to ensure alignment and to address any compliance issues.
• Serves as a mentor for EHS Associates and Site Safety Coordinators
