Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field with 5+ years of EHS experience.
• 10+ years of directly related EHS experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Previous EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems.
• Experience with environmental compliance, permitting, and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and execute the site-wide Environmental, Health & Safety strategy and compliance programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Identify opportunities to reduce workplace hazards and improve safety performance.
• Develop, implement, and deliver employee safety training programs.
• Manage workers' compensation processes and support return-to-work initiatives.
• Lead and coordinate emergency response and preparedness programs.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, HR, Quality, and other departments to drive safety improvements.
• Oversee environmental reporting, permitting, and compliance requirements.
• Track EHS metrics and develop action plans to address performance gaps.
• Promote employee engagement and accountability around safety practices.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop an EHS Coordinator.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen site safety and environmental performance.
