Job summary

The EHS Manager role oversees all Environmental Health and Safety programs at the manufacturing facility. It focuses on compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and the development of a culture of continual safety, health, and environmental excellence.

Responsibilities include coordinating training, managing the EHS system, and leading efforts to achieve OSHA VPP STAR status. The position offers bonus eligibility and long-term incentives, with occasional after-hours or weekend

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in environmental, health and safety.
• At least ten years of work experience in environmental, health, and safety.
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety and health training programs.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead all site EHS training.
• Support employee safety committees.
• Manage the EHS Management System.
• Perform inspections, investigations, and analyses to minimize losses or releases.
• Integrate risk control into daily operations.
• Maintain regulatory compliance reporting and recordkeeping (OSHA, EPA).
• Provide timely reports/audits to management.
• Develop action plans to pursue OSHA VPP STAR status.
• Manage compliance related to State Worker’s Compensation.
• Liaise with Federal, State, and Local agencies.
• Collaborate with EHS Divisional and Corporate support.
• Foster a positive safety culture with strong floor presence.
