Job summary

AllSearch Staffing Group seeks an experienced EHS Engineer to lead Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability programs at a Johnson City, TN manufacturing site. This onsite role focuses on regulatory compliance, employee safety, and continuous improvement across multiple Eastern Tennessee locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of EPA, TDEC, DOT, OSHA regulations.
• Experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage the EHSS budget.
• Represent the facility on the Global EHSS Council.
• Manage EHSS programs through ISO-based management system and reporting platforms.
• Develop and administer project safety plans, JHAs, incident investigations, and audits.
• Ensure safety equipment inspection and maintenance programs are completed.
• Develop, implement, and monitor EH&S initiatives that promote regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
• Identify training needs and deliver EHSS training programs.
• Manage the workers' compensation claims process.
• Interpret and apply OSHA, EPA, DOT, TDEC, TOSHA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
