Job summary

CACI International Inc seeks a Director, Manufacturing Environmental Health & Safety to lead enterprise-wide safety governance across all manufacturing sites in the United States. The role drives world-class safety culture, owning safety outcomes with plant managers and frontline leaders.

The position oversees EHS management systems, risk reduction, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance, partnering with HR and Manufacturing Excellence to embed safety into production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years related experience including 10 years progressive EHS leadership in manufacturing operations.
• Five or more years in aerospace/defense or similarly regulated, safety-critical environments.
• Experience designing leadership engagement models that embed safety ownership.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulatory frameworks; ISO 45001/ISO 14001 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead enterprise leadership engagement model for plant managers and supervisors.
• Own enterprise EHS management system across all manufacturing sites and ensure governance cadence.
• Drive hazard identification and risk reduction across manufacturing processes and facilities.
• Lead incident investigation and ensure corrective actions and lessons learned are shared enterprise-wide.
• Build and lead a high-performing EHS organization and integrate safety into production leadership.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Safety/Engineering

CSP/CIH certification
