Job summary

Performix is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Training & Documentation consultant to leverage Industrial Engineer experience for standardizing training materials across manufacturing and warehouse operations.

You will spend substantial time on the production floor observing processes and engaging operators, translating current and improved processes into clear, practical SOPs, work instructions, and OJT materials that boost training effectiveness, quality, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing, warehouse operations, industrial training, or related field.
• Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and OJT materials.
• Ability to translate processes into concise, operator-friendly instructions.
• Strong technical writing skills and Lean/Continuous Improvement understanding.
• Experience working with hourly manufacturing or warehouse staff.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document floor processes across manufacturing and warehouse operations.
• Create and maintain SOPs, Standard Work, Job Instructions, and OJT materials.
• Develop training matrices and qualification programs for applicable departments.
• Collaborate with operators, supervisors, engineers, quality, and supply chain to capture accurate processes.
• Institute document revision controls and support site training programs.
• Assist in coaching supervisors and trainers for structured On-the-Job training.
