Job summary

Times Microwave Systems is seeking a Technical Writer to support Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing by creating, reviewing and maintaining technical and manufacturing documentation, ensuring configuration control and Oracle data maintenance for material and process release.

Ideal candidates have an associates degree in a technical discipline and strong writing and MS Office skills, with teamwork mindset and familiarity with manufacturing practices. ERP/MRP exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or higher in a technical discipline is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
• Hands-on experience with coaxial cable assembly manufacturing is a plus.
• Familiar with manufacturing/drafting practices and AS9100 awareness is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and peer review Manufacturing Instructions and technical specifications.
• Manage configuration across document control processes.
• Assist Oracle administration for item masters, routings and BOMs to support MRP and release production docs.
• Coordinate with Sales and Applications Engineering to review customer drawings and material requirements.
• Support production processes with documentation and information dissemination.
