Job Title: Manufacturing Design & Project/Process Engineer (Multiple)

Reports to: Vice President of Engineering

Position Summary: Skilled in complex design and drafting with minimal supervision. Provides comprehensive support across applications, project management, vendors, and customers. Manages project tasks, communicates effectively with clients throughout project lifecycles and post-commissioning, and drives product/system design and improvement. Key responsibilities include specifications, procurement, job costing, schedule management, customer service, and sales support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To succeed in this role, satisfactory performance of the listed duties is required; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

•Create drawings and models from written and verbal specifications.

•Produce effective product/process designs using CAD Software, understanding of engineering/ manufacturing.

•Prepare multiple solutions to satisfy design requirements.

•Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new projects.

•Responsible for model accuracy, design, drafting standards and design documentation for individual projects.

•Work closely with other Designers, Drafters, and Engineers to ensure coordination design effort is maintained.

•Complete project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule.

•Project management responsibilities on small projects and portions of larger projects.

•Review drawings for completeness and accuracy, maintain revisions and provide mark ups as necessary.

•Direct and develop 3D models by analyzing prototypes and 2D drawings.

•Examine and check engineering drawings for compliance with cited specifications and value engineering.

•Maintain priorities and provide timely technical assistance and solutions to the team.

•Participate in project meetings and conference calls as required.

•Prepare and at times present engineering documents for customer submittal.

•Work with sales to develop concepts for new projects and changes to ongoing projects.

•Travels on-site to direct, coordinate and install projects as needed.

•Communicates and coordinates with customer, assembly team, vendors, and contractors per project.

Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and have the knowledge, skill, and/or ability to perform the essential functions:

-Has intermediate knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

-Knowledge of industry-specific processes, automated hardware, or computer applications.

-A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Education/Experience:

Two-year or four-year degree program in Mechanical or Design Engineering

Minimum 3 years’ experience in both AutoCAD and SolidWorks Experience in a fabrication environment is preferred.
