Job summary

KLA is seeking a Manufacturing Design Engineer (MDE) to join the BBP Final Integration Systems team in Milpitas, CA. You will support integration, calibration, qualification, and readiness of advanced semiconductor inspection systems, collaborating across Manufacturing, Systems Engineering, Product Engineering, Service, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline is required.
3+ years of experience with semiconductor capital equipment, systems integration, or related fields.
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and system-level issues.

Responsibilities

Support integration, calibration, qualification, and final verification of semiconductor inspection systems.
Perform system bring-up, alignment, testing, and troubleshooting to meet requirements.
Investigate hardware, software, calibration, and system-level issues using root cause analysis.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
Support manufacturing and field escalations with strong problem-solving.
Analyze performance data and manufacturing metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
Contribute to initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency and yield.
