Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
• Mechanical proficiency.
• Basic soldering skills.
• Proven ability to read schematics.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains methods and processes for manufacturing parts and assemblies.
• Coordinates release of new products with design engineering.
• Estimates costs, resolves timing standards, and recommends tooling and processes.
• Maintains records and reporting for manufacturing operations.
• Performs electro-mechanical assembly for development and pre-production.
• Constructs developmental assemblies from schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions.
• Performs rework and quality testing.
• Interacts with development and manufacturing engineers.
