Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering (required).
• 6+ years of related experience in mechanical design and fabrication.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and 3D printing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical assemblies using machined, sheet-metal, and injection-molded components with manufacturability in mind.
• Create detailed fabrication drawings and communicate with suppliers on design specs; order prototypes.
• Build prototypes and support product introduction to manufacturing through training and fixtures.
• Lead continuous improvement projects including assembly documentation, equipment specification, installation, and budgeting.
• Collaborate with R&D to ensure compliance and smooth product transitions.
