Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Data Warehouse / BI Developer for a hybrid role that can be based in Charlotte, NC or Corning, NY. The 5-month assignment focuses on data warehouse design, development, and analytics to enable manufacturing visibility and business decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data warehousing with SQL, ETL, and reporting experience using Power BI and SSRS/SSIS. Strong SDLC experience and collaboration with cross-functional teams are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, developing, and supporting Data Warehouse and BI solutions.
• 5+ years with Microsoft BI: SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS.
• Strong T-SQL development, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL, data warehousing, and end-user reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data warehouse, reporting, and analytics solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse and BI solutions for manufacturing and enterprise priorities.
• Partner with stakeholders to define approaches and deliver data capabilities.
• Develop and maintain T-SQL procedures, functions, queries, and scripts.
• Design, build, and support ETL processes for data intake and transformation.
• Troubleshoot data issues, stored procedures, and SSRS/Power BI reports.
• Collaborate with DBA team to optimize server health and queries.
• Develop data migration procedures as needed for projects.
• Evolve data warehouse architecture to be scalable and maintainable.
• Ensure SDLC standards and version control for analytics code.
