Job summary

Precision Steel Services in Toledo, OH is seeking a Data Specialist to convert customer requests into precise ERP-ready information for estimating and production teams. You will review orders, drawings, and specs, then enter accurate data into our ERP system while maintaining organized records and escalating issues when information is unclear.

You will work on quotes and orders on-site, coordinate with estimating, sales, and operations, and help the team reduce errors, backlogs, and repetitive

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of on-site data entry or order processing experience.
• Experience reviewing customer requests and supporting documents.
• Ability to learn ERP systems and internal processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requests, POs, drawings, revisions, and specs for ERP entry.
• Enter quote or order information accurately into the ERP system.
• Capture material requirements, dimensions, quantities, and processing instructions.
• Translate customer information into clear, actionable instructions for estimating, production, and ops.
