Job summary

Resource Label Group, LLC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support the sales cycle by processing orders and providing basic account servicing. The ideal candidate will excel in communication and technology, with prior manufacturing or packaging experience welcomed.

Reporting to the Manager, Customer Service, you will handle purchase orders via email, fax, and phone, coordinate with plant personnel, and ensure timely, accurate order processing while maintaining excellent service

Qualifications

• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, printing or packaging industry experience is a huge plus.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business materials and write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to calculate figures and interpret measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Speaks directly with internal and external customers collecting customer information and product specifications.
• Receives purchase orders from customers via email, fax, or telephone; reviews orders before accepting and confirming.
• Processes new purchase orders into the system including any delivery or shipping requirements; communicates with plant personnel.
• Routes supplies, job jackets and materials to work areas to enter production orders.
• Routes inquiries and complaints in a timely manner and follows through.
• Prioritize workload to best meet business needs.
• Receives tickets for shipped or delivered products and begins billing process; verifies shipping reports against packing lists.
• Exhibits a consistent drive to exceed customer expectations.
