Job summary

RAF Electronic Hardware in Seymour, CT is seeking a Customer Service Representative to process customer orders and releases, monitor open orders, and communicate status to customers and outside sales teams. The role acts as a liaison among Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, and Sales to ensure customer requirements are accurately relayed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of customer service, order management, or related experience is required.
• Experience with data entry and/or customer order entry.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Enter and manage customer orders, sales orders, and releases in the company system.
• Review orders for part numbers, revisions, quantities, pricing, and requirements.
• Monitor open orders and coordinate with Production and Purchasing for status updates.
• Communicate order status and delivery information to customers and outside sales reps.
• Liaise between departments to meet customer requirements.
• Plan and enter production work orders based on customer needs.
• Enter ASNs and communicate shipment information to customers.
