Job summary

Gates Corporation in Denver, CO seeks a Manager, Manufacturing Costing, North America to lead costing across NA plants, establish standard costing, and provide financial insight for decision making.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and IT to drive cost analytics, ensure internal controls, and support strategic initiatives while traveling up to 25%. This role requires a strong background in US GAAP, BOMs, routings, and ERP systems, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or operations finance within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, particularly inventory accounting and standard costing.
• Experience leading ERP costing implementations and working with BOMs, routings, and overhead structures.

Responsibilities

• Own the manufacturing costing framework and governance across all North American locations.
• Lead standard cost roll processes and ensure accurate inventory valuation.
• Drive cost analytics and provide reliable product costing to support strategic decisions.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and IT to improve costing capabilities and automation.
• Support cost-based pricing, transfer pricing, and cost-related business initiatives.
