Job summary

Fortifi Food Processing Solutions is seeking an accomplished finance leader to oversee operations for two North American plants. The role drives month-end close, reporting, and budgeting while partnering with plant leadership to optimize costs and performance.

Lead cost accounting, standard costs, and variance analysis to support informed decision-making. The position requires extensive manufacturing finance experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and the ability to develop staff and implement robust

Qualifications

• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including GAAP.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience in cost accounting within manufacturing, including standard costs and variances.

Responsibilities

• Oversee finance operations for assigned plants, including month-end close, journal entries, and reporting across North America.
• Direct financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for plant operations.
• Lead cost accounting, including product costing, inventory valuation, standard costs, and variance analysis.
• Partner with operational leadership to drive cost reductions and performance improvements.
• Monitor monthly results against budget with variance analysis and recommendations.
• Collaborate across divisions to align financial practices and controls.
• Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Manage and coach finance staff and lead audits and continuous improvement.
