Job summary

We Search People seeks a Cost Manager for a North Carolina manufacturing facility in Monroe. This on-site role focuses on cost planning, inventory control, month-end close, and reporting to operations to drive total cost down.

You will act as the go-to finance partner for the site, monitor inventory variances, support annual budgeting, and lead the physical inventory count with the plant team. relocation package offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting and cost experience in manufacturing.
• Inventory transactions experience required.
• ERP experience in manufacturing (Oracle a plus).
• SQL experience preferred.
• Ability to explain finance concepts to non-financial managers.
• Ability to embrace and drive change.

Responsibilities

• Be the site finance go-to for financial information and analysis.
• Monitor inventory batches and resolve variances.
• Assist annual planning for variable and fixed costs and department budgets.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Lead the annual physical inventory count and support cycle counts.
• Collaborate with plant finance to understand cost variances and drive down total cost.
• Generate monthly financial reporting and analytics for operations.
