Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Cost Accounting is required.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
  • Lean Continuous Improvement training or certification is preferred.
  • Experience in cost accounting or engineering in manufacturing is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Lead CI projects including VSM, SMED, 5S, Standard Work and process optimizations.
  • Conduct MOST analyses to establish cost standards and labor baselines.
  • Identify non-value-added activity and drive CI efforts.
  • Analyze and communicate variances in labor, yields, material usage, overhead and absorption.
  • Create cost standards and BOMs for WIP and finished goods.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts and support pricing models.
