Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Cost Financial Analyst for a direct hire opportunity. The analyst will manage full-cycle accounting for manufacturing operations, focusing on COGS, inventory, month-end close, and financial reporting.

You will perform reconciliations, manage fixed assets and intercompany transactions, support audits and budgeting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar accounting role within manufacturing and/or distribution.
• Strong cost, manufacturing and inventory accounting with variance analysis experience.
• Experience with month-end closing, financial statements and analysis.
• Knowledge of fixed assets, depreciation, intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Organizational, planning and deadline management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, month-end close and financial statements.
• Analyze COGS accounts including variances and cost trends.
• Oversee inventory accounting, reconciliations and year-end counts.
• Handle intercompany transactions including allocations and balances.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation and asset-related transactions.
• Support audits, budgeting, royalty calculations and management requests.
