Financeroles in Fontana, CA is seeking a dedicated Cost Accountant to support cost management for manufacturing operations. You will work with operations teams to ensure accurate costing, budgeting, and forecasting while maintaining GP metrics.

The role requires knowledge of US GAAP, ERP experience, and strong analytical skills to drive margin improvements and support financial planning processes.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expert skills in financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, planning and forecasting.
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects within targeted timelines and costs.
• Proficient with Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of Infor systems is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Operation Management and departments to improve operation excellence.
• Manage cost accounting transactions in line with US GAAP and costing policies.
• Ensure inventory valuation accuracy through costing, analysis, and cycle counts.
• Assist in daily and monthly P&Ls preparation and margin analysis reporting.
• Lead annual physical inventories and quarterly mini counts.
