Job summary

Corning is seeking a Cost Analyst for its Solar business to handle manufacturing accounting and product cost analysis. You will collaborate with Supply & Logistics, manage month-end close, inventory valuations, accruals, and cost variances, and support production planning with cost insights.

Responsibilities

• Participate in closing the financial books at month-end and year-end, ensure inventory values are stated, review accruals, and analyze manufacturing cost variances.
• Coordinate periodic review of product costs and update inventory standard costs as appropriate.
• Analyze cost variances and cost productions with business partners.
• Ensure proper system flow of transactions to align production processes.
