• Excellent analytical, leadership, and business partnering skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead cost accounting processes including standard costing and product costing.
• Manage monthly close for inventory, manufacturing ops, and COGS.
• Analyze variances in materials, labor, and overhead; provide actionable insights.
• Partner with plant managers to improve profitability and productivity.
• Oversee inventory controls, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital investment analysis.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.
• Mentor accounting staff and drive process improvements.

The Operations Accounting Manager leads cost accounting and manufacturing finance activities across multiple North American production facilities. This role partners with operations and plant leadership to ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, financial reporting, and performance analysis while driving cost control and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cost accounting processes, including standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, and product costing.
• Manage monthly close activities related to inventory, manufacturing operations, and cost of goods sold.
• Analyze material, labor, overhead, and production variances and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Partner with plant managers and operations teams to improve profitability, productivity, and operational performance.
• Oversee inventory controls, cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, capital investment analysis, and operational planning.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
• Develop and mentor accounting staff while driving process improvements and best practices.
