Job summary

Silfex, a Lam Research Company, seeks a Cost Accounting Manager to lead manufacturing cost accounting, oversee standard costing, variance analysis, and month-end close. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to translate cost performance into actionable insights.

You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, build robust controls, and guide process improvements across the ERP landscape.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance or blended role.
• Strong costing, GL, reconciliations, and month-end close knowledge.
• Experience with manufacturing cost accounting concepts and overhead allocation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze overhead rates and cost pools; assess absorption methodologies.
• Analyze variances in price, material usage, labor, overhead, yield, scrap, and efficiency.
• Prepare and support monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting and close processes.
