Job summary

Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) is seeking a Manufacturing Cost Accountant to join our team onsite in Poestenkill, NY.

You will handle costing and cost controlling for product lines, produce monthly reporting with cost analysis, and support profitability initiatives across the Measurement Systems division. Key responsibilities include managing inventory and work orders, ensuring SOX compliance, and partnering with management to drive cost savings and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required; CPA/CMA is a plus.
• 7 years' costing and cost-controlling experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Syspro ERP is required.
• Strong analytical skills and financial modeling ability.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• International travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Costing and controlling for product lines; prepare monthly reporting package with cost analysis.
• Analyze sales, costs, inventory, and work orders; ensure SOX compliance.
• Support profitability with cost-saving programs and variance analysis.
