Job summary

Vishay Precision Group, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Cost Accountant to join our Poestenkill, NY team onsite. You will oversee costing, profitability analysis, and monthly reporting for the Measurement Systems product line, ensuring SOX compliance and accurate inventory valuation.

The role requires 7 years of cost accounting in manufacturing, proficiency with Syspro ERP and Advanced Excel, and willingness to travel internationally. Bachelor’s in accounting/finance is required; CPA/CMA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required; CPA/CMA nice to have.
• 7 years of costing, cost controlling and accounting in manufacturing.
• Experience with Syspro ERP and advanced Excel required.
• Strong analytical, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability skills.
• International travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Costing and cost controlling for the product line; profitability analysis.
• Prepare monthly reporting package with gross margin reconciliations and variances.
• Inventory & work orders valuation, control, and SOX compliance.
• Support management with project profitability and cost-saving programs.
• Audit reviews and internal control responsibilities.
