Job summary

Vishay Precision Group, Inc. (VPG) is seeking a Manufacturing Cost Accountant to join our team onsite in Poestenkill, NY.

You will manage costing, cost control, and profitability analysis for our measurement systems product line, providing monthly reporting and variance analysis. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 7 years of costing experience in manufacturing, proficiency with Excel, and experience with Syspro ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (CPA/CMA nice to have)
• 7 years’ experience with costing & cost controlling and accounting background in manufacturing environment
• Experience with Syspro ERP system
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, along with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to drive profitability and efficiency
• Advanced Excel skills are essential for financial modeling, data analysis, and report preparation
• International travel is required

• Base Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 per year depending on experience.
