Job summary

TriMark USA, LLC in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Cost Accountant to own project cost tracking from quote through shipment. You will monitor standard costs, WIP, and inventory valuation, and work closely with estimators, production, and shipping to protect margin.

The role emphasizes variance analysis, month-end close, and collaboration with shop personnel. In-office position with standard business hours, supporting a fast-paced custom manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years cost accounting experience in manufacturing (job-shop or make-to-order).
• Proficiency in standard costing, job costing, WIP, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, NetSuite, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS.

Responsibilities

• Own project cost tracking from quote through final invoice.
• Reconcile estimated vs. actual costs by job (materials, labor, overhead).
• Analyze margin by product family, customer, and channel; identify leakage.
• Prepare COGM/COGS with variance commentary; post inventory adjustments.
• Collaborate with estimators, production, and purchasing on cost improvements.
