Mativ Holdings, Inc. is seeking a proactive Senior Cost Accountant for our Athens, GA manufacturing facility. You will lead standard cost development, manage journal entries, and deliver analyses to drive cost efficiencies and better margins.

You will collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance to support strategic decisions and improve cost structures. The role requires strong cost accounting expertise, ERP experience, and advanced Excel skills, with a focus on inventory integrity

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong working knowledge of standard costing, job costing, and inventory valuation methods.
• Experience with ERP systems (Infor, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Advanced Excel proficiency (XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PivotTables, dashboards).
• Ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Lead standard cost development and maintenance for the plant, ensuring BOMs, routings, and rate accuracy.
• Support month-end close activities related to inventory and manufacturing costs, including journal entries and variance reconciliation.
• Deliver cost and operational analysis to identify cost drivers and improve margins.
• Lead budget and forecast cycles with insights into costs, volumes, and resource use.
• Prepare and distribute monthly reporting packages with KPIs and variance explanations.
• Ensure inventory integrity and valuation accuracy in partnership with Plant Leadership.
• Support cost reduction through ROI analyses and savings tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement across Athens site and finance organization.
