Job summary

You will collaborate with production and accounting teams, review data entries, support month-end close, and drive process improvements. Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in cost accounting preferred; Sage experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting and internal controls.
• Experience implementing accounting or financial reporting processes; Sage preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with high confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Apply cost accounting skills to measure production operations at the plant.
• Maintain and improve financial internal controls and related processes.
• Review data entry inaccuracies with Production Leads and identify improvements.
• Calculate standard and actual production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Develop reporting on inventory, production costs, variances, and yield.
• Prepare labor and overhead budgets for operations.
• Support month-end close with accounting team for manufacturing.
• Analyze cost changes from design or layout changes.
• Lead monthly inventory processes to ensure accuracy.
• Manage vendor credits and tracking; oversee expense coding and reporting.
• Produce financial reporting for monthly, quarterly, annual closes and consolidation.
