Job summary

The Food Source International is seeking a Cost Accountant to maintain product and inventory cost data and provide actionable insights for pricing and forecasting. You will partner with Accounting and operations to ensure accurate valuation and reliable cost information.

Responsibilities include maintaining standard costs, analyzing variances, and supporting inventory controls and cost of goods sold. This is an on-site position in Exton, PA with opportunities to influence pricing decisions and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standard costs for materials, labor, overhead, and finished goods.
• Analyze variances and summarize cost trends for pricing and forecasting.
• Reconcile inventory valuation with the general ledger.
• Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and reserve analysis.
• Prepare journal entries and cost schedules for month-end close.
