Job summary

Amylu Foods, Inc. is seeking a Cost Accountant to partner with manufacturing, production, and warehouse teams to establish standard costs, manage BOMs, and oversee period-end cost updates.

The role focuses on inventory integrity, cost rolls, variance analysis, and ERP postings to support COGS reporting. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 3+ years in cost accounting within manufacturing, with strong Excel and ERP skills, and ability to travel to manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with standard costing, BOMs, and inventory accounting in an ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Establish, validate, and maintain standard costs for BOMs and new/existing items.
• Lead annual standard cost-setting processes with plant, purchasing, and operations teams.
• Reconcile inventory across internal and external warehouses and investigate discrepancies.
• Perform cost rolls, variance analysis, and cost updates.
