Qualifications

• 3–5 years cost accounting, plant accounting, or manufacturing-finance experience.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis, and GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing data.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the standard cost system and reflect current material, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze variances: material usage, labor efficiency, overhead absorption, yields, waste, cost changes.
• Investigate cost variances drivers and communicate findings to Finance and plant leadership.
• Review BOMs, routings, and manufacturing orders to improve costing accuracy.
• Strengthen costing processes to understand true cost and profitability.
