Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA or CMA certification would be a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience with focus on cost accounting.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP.
• Proficiency in inventory reporting and cost analysis.
• ERP systems experience for cost accounting and inventory management.
• Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost standards for materials and labor.
• Prepare detailed periodic and ad-hoc cost reports.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and compare standard vs actual costs.
• Assist design and implementation of cost accounting systems.
• Review and reconcile inventory counts for accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering/manufacturing to manage product costs.
• Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Assist in year-end audit schedules and analysis.
• Utilize ERP for cost accounting and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and related regulations.
