Job summary

Weatherford is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant for our Greenville, Texas location. You will manage accounting transactions in line with principles, compile financial data, and prepare timely reports.

The role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in cost accounting, and collaboration with operations to ensure accurate cost treatment. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 5–8 years of accounting experience, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 5–8 years of accounting experience; cost accounting a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger reconciliation and respond to close questions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as needed.
• Handle fixed asset controls, depreciation and analyze P&L variations.
