Job summary

Daley And Associates, LLC. is seeking an experienced Controller for an industrial manufacturing client. The role reports to the CFO and combines hands-on accounting leadership with strategic financial oversight to improve reporting, controls and operational performance.

The position emphasizes collaboration with operations, cost accounting, and senior leadership, with a 4‑day in‑office schedule and a base salary of $140K–$180K plus a 20% target bonus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in accounting/finance with leadership experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or operationally complex environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory and cost accounting, GAAP and internal controls.
• Proven ability to improve processes, reporting and systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, payroll and month‑end close.
• Lead financial reporting, variance analysis and management reporting.
• Manage inventory and cost accounting, reconciliations and controls.
• Partner with operations to analyze costs, margins and labor.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capital reporting.
• Strengthen controls, processes and systems; coordinate audits and tax compliance.
• Lead and develop the accounting team with strategic insights.
