Job summary

Timberlab is seeking a Controller to lead accounting and financial operations for its multi-site manufacturing business. You will oversee financial reporting, cost accounting, inventory accounting, budgeting, internal controls, and month-end close activities while partnering with operations leadership to drive profitability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial reporting for Timberlab's multi-site manufacturing operations.
• Oversee month-end close, consolidations, and financial statements under U.S. GAAP.
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting: standard costing, overhead allocation, variance analysis.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, master data, and inventory valuation processes.
• Drive process improvements, internal controls, and audit readiness with external auditors.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure cost accuracy and profitability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting packages.
• Mentor and develop accounting team members and promote continuous improvement.
