Job summary

HRB in Central Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Controller to lead core accounting functions and support strategic financial planning in a high‑visibility, hands‑on role.

You will oversee month‑end and year‑end close, budgeting, forecasting and FP&A, payroll accuracy, and internal controls, partnering with operations to drive performance and interact with lenders on ABL structures.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in controllership or similar leadership role in manufacturing.
• Exposure to or experience with asset-based lending (ABL) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage general accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with leadership to drive financial performance.
• Provide FP&A support, including variance analysis and financial modeling.
• Manage and ensure accuracy of payroll processing and related reporting.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support interactions with lenders, including asset-based lending (ABL) structures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, particularly within a manufacturing environment.
