Synectics Inc. seeks a Senior Accountant/Controller-level professional to lead general accounting for a manufacturing environment.

You will oversee AR, AP, fixed assets, inventory, actuals, forecasting, and budget reporting, ensuring timely, accurate corporate reporting. Key responsibilities include managing the month-end close, GAAP/SOX/COSO compliance, lease accounting, revenue recognition, and cost control across production and inventory.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 8-10 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, COSO, inventory accounting, lease accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Experience with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Experience with ERP/financial systems is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all general accounting functions: AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Actuals, Forecasting, Budget Reporting.
• Manage the month-end close process and prepare corporate reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, COSO, lease accounting, and revenue recognition standards.
• Monitor inventory valuation and production costs; manage manufacturing expenses.
• Analyze excess and obsolete inventory and recommend actions.
• Prepare reports for tax authorities and support tax requirements.
• Maintain finance system modules and meet reporting deadlines.
• Provide backup support to the Controller and assist on special projects.
