Job summary

Stern Pinball is seeking a Controller to lead its accounting function at the Elk Grove Village facility. You will own close, financial reporting, inventory costing, and internal controls while partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to turn numbers into actionable improvements.

This hands-on finance leadership role requires manufacturing accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and the ability to drive accuracy and efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting/finance.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Experience leading close, internal controls, audit, and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare timely, accurate US GAAP financial statements with clear commentary.
• Oversee inventory, costing, and production variance analyses with cross-functional teams.
